Appointment strengthens management team and positions company for continued rapid growth
SAN DIEGO, May 23, 2016 – Claire Long, a senior executive with more than 20 years of financial leadership experience, has joined BlueHornet as its chief financial officer (CFO).
Long is responsible for executive oversight of finance, accounting and risk management for BlueHornet, a leading provider of all-inclusive email marketing software and services.
She joins BlueHornet from Covario, a global search marketing firm, where she served as CFO and COO until its purchase by the Dentsu Aegis Network. Prior to that, she was CFO at The San Diego Union Tribune, where she was responsible for finance, accounting and treasury. Previously, she was CFO of Visual Sciences (formerly WebSideStory), where she was instrumental in managing its successful acquisition by Omniture. Long’s experience includes senior positions in diverse industries including publishing, software, analytics, semiconductors, digital media, specialty retail, resorts and telecommunications.
