Applications Administrator

The Applications Administrator will provide operational support for business process applications, with primary focus on the NetSuite ERP and Salesforce. Responsibilities include analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, training, and support of NetSuite and Salesforce, as well as other corporate applications like SAP and Marketo. In addition, he/she will provide consultation and ongoing support to users for all Enterprise Applications; perform application administration that includes provisioning and de-provisioning users, managing user security, application support, configuration, business analysis, planning out and potentially implementing any customizations and working with vendors on more complex support needs that the individual cannot cover.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Establish a roadmap for the ERP and integrated systems during a period of high growth.
  • Develop, plan and implement ERP system projects, M&A add-on integrations, and process improvements. Successfully monitor project status and adherence to schedules, requirements and deadlines.
  • Serve as the primary support person, to manage all requests for customizing, upgrading, integrating and troubleshooting the NetSuite ERP.
  • Partner with the Marketing team to design and oversee the integration to Marketo for lead and campaign management.
  • Partner with the Sales team to design and oversee the integration to for customer data management, sales process and product catalog.
  • Partner with the Implementation and Account Management teams to design and implement professional services onboarding and project accounting processes.
  • Partner with the Customer Successteam to design and implement customer support and case management processes.
  • Develop process documentation and training materials.
  • May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.


  • 5-7 years ERP business process experience
  • 2+ years NetSuite experience
  • 2+ years Salesforce experience preferred
  • 2+ years working with query languages – experience in relational databases, i.e. Oracle is a plus
  • 2+ years working in data analytics a plus


  • A high level of business acumen and track record of supporting operations, accounting or sales departments
  • Proven excellence in technical and project management and documentation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively lead projects, create metrics and report on activity status
  • Expertise with migration in ERP is a plus
  • Track record of critical thinking and problem solving under pressure
  • Proven self-starter with a high level of initiative to implement sustainable solutions and support strong business growth
  • Understanding Agile development methodologies a plus


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business or equivalent experience
