Campaign Systems Analyst

This is a lead role working in conjunction with marketing Campaign Managers to coordinate and manage vendor partner, campaign data requirements and client business requirements, while coordinating the flow of campaign requirements information to the campaign execution team. The individual will be responsible for the content and completeness of campaign requirements, overseeing the execution of campaign tests and confirming that the campaign data output is accurate as defined by the customer.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as primary Technical SME to Client brand managers to address questions regarding data content, vendor file status, campaign development and execution status
  • Review and approve campaign requirements for delivery to the internal execution team
  • Oversee the execution of campaign tests, vendor data loop tests, and end-to-end campaign testing
  • Analyze new data layouts from external vendors to ensure it supports campaign needs, including reporting requirements
  • Manage list match processing with vendors to insure there is sufficient match to work with the vendor on a future campaign
  • Work with operational contact to identify, resolve and escalate overnight data feed issues to meet Client needs and ensure maximum vendor data capture and accuracy
  • Provide campaign status to campaign managers
  • Assess existing campaign processes and implement improvements
  • Perform quality control on inbound/outbound data
  • Work with vendors to resolve inaccurate or missing data in the system


  • Possess strong SQL skills
  • Strong data analysis acumen and ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise
  • Ability to work with a disparate, virtual team to coordinate work with a variety of internal teams and also client and vendor contacts /teams.
  • Have strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members, customers and vendors
  • Ability to lead weekly status meetings
  • Manage multiple competing priorities from stakeholders
  • 7-10 years of experience as a business systems analyst related to Marketing functions (digital marketing operations, data analysis or marketing automation)
  • Experience in Teradata Applications preferred
  • Data Analysis: 7 years
  • Marketing Automation: 7 years
  • Marketing Operations: 7 years
  • SQL: 7 years
  • Digital Marketing: 7 years


  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
